Michigan has committed seven players, including two-star running back Isaiah Wynn, to 247 Sports recruiting services.
Wynn committed to the Wolverines over offers from Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Texas, Vanderbilt and others.
The Wolverines were the first program in the nation to commit to 247’s rankings since Florida in 2010.
The 6-foot-3, 228-pounder is rated the No. 17 overall prospect in the 2018 class and the No 14 player in the 2017 class.
He is rated a consensus four-star prospect by 247Sports.WYNN was one of Michigan’s top recruits entering the 2017 recruiting cycle, as he was the No, 9 overall player in Rivals100 and the nation’s No. 6 running back in 2017.
He played for the Spartans in the Nike Elite Eight, as well as was named to the USA Today All-American team.
Wymn earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors last season and rushed for 1,838 yards and 13 touchdowns.
He also caught 58 passes for 716 yards and three touchdowns.
Wyon also was a member of Michigan State’s 2017 Under Armour All-America Team.
He was named first-team All-Conference USA by the coaches and media for the season.
He recorded 561 receiving yards, nine touchdowns and nine rushing touchdowns, and he was also named to all-conference honors by the coaching staff.
Wynton joins Michigan’s other 2017 commit, safety Jamal Carter, who is committed to Florida State and is expected to make a decision on where he will sign after this weekend.
Wyo and Wynn will compete for playing time with the Spartans this fall, and Wyo is expected for a major role on special teams.
Wynn has appeared in all 15 games this season, with eight starts and has averaged 6.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
