WR Damion Thomas, CB Josh Sweat, DB Terrance West, LB Jalen Hurd, WR Josh Doctson and DE Malik McDowell are all set to return.
McDowell will be joining the Louisville defense after playing for the Cardinals at Michigan State.
He was a top-five recruit for Louisville in the class of 2018 and the first-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2016.
Thomas has already signed his official letter of intent to return to the Cardinals for his senior season.
This will be his fourth visit to Louisville since the end of the 2018 season.
McConnell said that this class will be the best Louisville has had since his arrival in the program.
The Cardinals have seen five top-100 players sign with the program since 2014.
The first four recruits to sign with Louisville were defensive ends Jordan Willis and Trevon Harris.
Willis and Harris were both drafted by other teams in the 2017 class.
Willis will be making his pro-football debut.
McKenzie Matthews is set as the starting cornerback.
The 6-foot-1, 202-pound linebacker has already played in seven games for the Lions and has five tackles and two pass breakups.
McKayla Travis is set up as the starter at wide receiver.
The 4-star recruit out of San Antonio has played in four games this season.
