Former Georgia guard Tyler Boyd has reportedly offered to join Alabama, according to The Associated Press.
Boyd, who played at the University of Georgia and UGA, has been offered the opportunity to play at the Tigers, according the report.
Boyd is a 6-foot-7 wing who has experience in the paint and a solid shooting touch.
Boyd played his high school basketball in Georgia.
The Crimson Tide have a number of other players in the mix to fill Boyd’s shoes at the position, including former Tennessee guard Mike Tobey.
Tobey is one of the top recruits in the 2017 class.
The Alabama coaching staff is currently focused on rebuilding its roster and rebuilding the program.
Former Georgia player Tyler Boyd had offers from Alabama, Texas, UCLA, Arizona, Florida and Kentucky.
