With a 1-0 win over Bishan FC, the Uva FC girls’ team beat Bishang FC on Wednesday.
Uva defeated Bishangs AFC in the second round of the Indian Women’s Championship.
Uva FC’s team coach Satyajit Agarwal said that their team was on a high level and that they are a very competitive team.
“Our girls are very hungry for the league.
Our focus has always been to compete for the national championship,” she said.
Bishang coach Shishiran Bhati said that his team had lost the game because of their players and that the team was a very hard team.
The Uva girls will now move on to the second phase of the competition, where they will face Bishanesa AFC, which defeated Udaas AFC in a last-16 game.
On the pitch, the girls had a good performance and scored twice.
The team’s players, including goalkeeper Kajal Thapar, scored two goals, as did the striker Anjali Yadav, who scored the second.
Kajal Yadav scored the winning goal in the final moments of the match against Udaa.
She will move into the women’s team of the country, which has a roster of 28.
