A 6’7, 260-pound forward from Syracuse was the only one of the seven recruits that made it into the 2019 recruiting classes that went on to play for the Alamo State, according to 247sports.com.
Jordan DeWitt is a 6-9 guard from Syracuse who is listed at 6-11 and 230 pounds.
He was a member of the 2019 Under Armour All-America team.
The 247sports Composite ranked DeWits top five prospects for 2019.
He is ranked No. 9 in the 247Sports Composite and No. 6 nationally.
The 6-10 DeWit was rated the No. 3 overall prospect in the 2019 class and No 2 overall player by Rivals.com and Scout.com, respectively.
He is the fifth commit from Syracuse in the class of 2019.
The Alabamas 2019 recruiting haul also included five other committed players from Syracuse, according the 247sports rankings.
The group included three-star guard Deionte Thompson (6-6, 230 pounds), four-star point guard Tyquan Brown (6.6 points per game, 3.3 assists per game) and three-year player of the year guard D.J. Williams (7.1 points per contest, 4.4 rebounds per game).
