Tennessea, Fla.
–NC Basketball recruiters, recruits and coaches were on hand for the debut of the NCAA Basketball Recruiting Site in North Carolina.
The site features all-star game rosters, recruiting profiles and game highlights from the 2015-16 season, along with the latest news on prospects and trends in the sport.
The site is the brainchild of Mike Fink of the Fink Group, who has spent nearly a decade as an NBA recruiter and has been at NC basketball since the start of the program’s 2013-14 season.
Fink said he is very excited about the site.
He said he hopes the site will be a gateway to the recruiting landscape for the state.”NC basketball is very much an economic engine, and that’s why it’s so important to have a recruiting site that is well-designed,” Fink said.
“It’s not only the money that’s on the line, but also the passion and passion of the fan base that will be at the forefront of the site, so it’s going to be an exciting site.”
The site will also be home to some of the country’s top high school basketball programs.
It includes more than 300 player profiles for the 2014-15 and 2015-2016 seasons.
The NCAA will be hosting the 2017-18 season on the site as well.
The first game is scheduled for Jan. 2 at North Carolina Memorial Stadium in Greensboro, N.C.
The website also has a video section with highlights from top prospects and programs around the country.
The video features highlights from recruits and programs across the country, including Florida, Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Maryland Tech, NC State, New Mexico, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Purdue, Syracuse and Texas.
The NC Basketball Recruiters Association was formed in 2009 to support the recruitment of North Carolina players and their families.
The group’s board of directors includes North Carolina State University alumnus Brian Bennett, former NC basketball player and current director of basketball recruiting and marketing for the NC Basketball Foundation.
