More from New Scientist: A new Army recruiting site in central Scotland has been upgraded to provide a video chat feature to recruits, the military’s largest recruitment station.
The new facility, at the Military Academy, is due to open this year and will be the first recruitment station to include a video screen.
The £100m upgrade is part of the £500m of new facilities the Army has built in Scotland to support the country’s fight against terrorism.
