Texas A&M’s recruiting class for 2019 recruiting: The big names and the big-money recruits

More than a few Texas A & M football recruits are looking forward to the 2019 recruiting class, with many already thinking of their next big move.

According to 247Sports Composite, there are a total of 24 prospects listed as potential first-rounders on 247Sports.

Those players are listed at positions from tight end to linebacker to defensive back.

247Sports also lists the three top prospects in each position as defensive backs.

Texas A&M has already recruited two of the top three defensive backs in the state of Texas, while the Aggies are still looking for a starting safety.

247sports currently lists Texas Aggies linebacker Michael Thomas as a top-10 recruit, and he was also listed at the position on the 247Sports composite.

Thomas is ranked as the No. 1 defensive back in the nation, while defensive lineman Alex Ochocinco is ranked No. 6 in the 247sports composite.

There are several other top defensive prospects on the Aggie roster.

Texas is currently the only program in the country with a four-star recruiting class with 247sports ranking the Aggias No. 2 recruiting class at No. 4 overall.

247 Sports has listed Texas Ams No. 3 and 4 recruits, respectively, and both of those players are ranked as potential top-five prospects in the 2019 class.

The Aggies have been linked to offensive tackle Michael Williams, but 247sports is not including him in the rankings.

247spokesman Michael C. Bynum said Williams is not included on the 2019 247Sports list.
